The largest challenge facing StruXure of the Rockies when constructing the Pivot 6 pergola was the space allowed for construction and installation. The outdoor patio was on an elevated concrete pad, surrounded by a welded railing. The pergola had to fit perfectly into place and attach to the existing brick building.
Park officials were looking for an outdoor patio structure that would provide a consistently usable outdoor venue, allowing full enjoyment of the environment while protecting against the sun, wind, and rain when needed. They needed a solution that allowed a full view of the amazing scenery with a structure that could react quickly to high winds and rain that develop without a moment’s notice and disappear just as quickly.
