This beautiful new log home was no different and required added considerations due to the mountainous, high-altitude location. Fortunately, we were able to consult on the project during the deck build and advised on the best way to receive the pergola footings, which had to be increased in size. This was necessary to handle the added support, which had to be doubled to stand up to the high winds and heavy snow loads common in the mountains.
